Custom Tone Bars

Post by Jacob Payer »

My search for a tone bar has been challenging! Has anyone hired a machinist to custom make a small batch of bars for them?

What kind of tone bar are you looking for?
There are a lot of them available here on the Forum.

Ben Burrow in the UK makes excellent custom bars any length, diameters from 3/4 inch to 1 inch, as long as you're not in a hurry (shipping from UK to US takes a while.) https://bensbarsandslides.weebly.com/about.html to see what he can do, and https://bensbarsandslides.weebly.com/contact.html to contact him.

Erv - I am looking for a BJS 15/16" tone bar.

Mike - Thank you for attaching that link! I just sent an order in for a couple new bars.

I just got a bar from Ben and it's really nice!
it's sort of in between my Fuzzy (Excel) and BJS bars in terms of both feel and tone and I like it a lot 8)
