ANNOUNCING: The NEW International Nashville Steel Guitar Clu

I just spoke with Mr. Bobbe Seymour and he gave me permission to announce this.

Bobbe Seymour and Gary Hogue (of Marty Stuart fame) have had several meetings working out the details regarding this new steel guitar club and convention series.

The first convention will be held in July 2000, right after the Chet Atkins Appreciation Week. The Chet event will end on a Sunday and Bobbe says the first day of the first INSGC convention will most likely be the Thursday after that.

The "tentative" location is the Music City Sheraton Hotel in Nashville.

Day One: will be dedicated to non-pedal steel only.

Day Two: will be for pedal steel.

This is exciting news for the Nashville area and for the steel guitar community in general. Needless to say, Bobbe Seymour is the ONLY guy who can pull this new Nashville show off successfully.

Frank, do you have to be a Nashville player in order to join the Nashville club and will there be newsletters etc.. ??
